Additional Requirements for the Indian Visa

Apart from the general visa requirements, you might need to provide additional documents for different visa types.

  • For a transit visa, applicants will have to provide a return or onward journey ticket. This type of visa is non-extendable and allows only a single or, at most, double entry and nothing more

Other additional requirements may include a letter of intent regarding the shooting of the film in India as well as particulars of the cast, crew and filming equipment to be used. This type of visa is extendable and allows multiple entries for a period of 1 year or the entire duration of your shoot, which should be less than 1 year.
